figured ide finnaly post some pics up of my truck ;D
yes i know it sits a little lopsided in the one pic stock tire is on the back left temporarily all there is to do yet is bolt the steering together and get the breaklines fixed tune the motor up and itll be ready to drive

if those are 38.5s im guna guess 8in of lift.

looks awsome but man that truck dwarfs those tires

it does...but if it doesent flex how i want it to im going to change some stuff around next summer i plan on going shackle flip and smaller springs i was dissapointed cause i dident get to sawzaw the fenders >.<

was also my first project ever with any kinda of truck and i wasent really sure what i was getting into but now im addicted to this place and am working on bettering the truck in the future ;D

ya im thinkin 8" too, jus wanna get an idea what mine will look like once i get around to getting enough money to buy tires :D

well then you shoulda bought 42s then u could whip out the sawsall :haha:

Looks good. I'm thinking about putting the cab lights on my 88.

i got an idea, sell me ur 38.5s cheap then buy 42s and cut as much as u want :D :D :D

it really does look sweet. what gears are u running in there?

right now im not a big fan of the cab lights...their starting to grow on me tho i really wanna get rid of them infavor for the visor i have sitting around, 4.10's dont really wanna mess around with money in the axels till i get a d60 gonna live with the push/pull steering till that day comes too

Looks good. I like the lift/tire combo, but I like trucks with lots of fender room ;)
I like visors, both my trucks have them, is the visor you have lighted or not? Cause I could understand if it was the lighted moon visor, it would look weird, but I'd be curious to see what a non lighted visor with the factory cab lights would look like.

Thats a pretty sick truck man, keep up the good work...oh and about those visors... i like them too but how long do you think one will actually last lol? I know that when i wheel ive got tree branches and **** hitting the window and roof all the time... pretty sure it would get busted up quick.

I've gone through some trees and brush on trails before with my 77 and I haven't had a branch do any damage to its visor. They seem pretty thick to me, I'd think if a branch would bust your visor, your windsheild would be toast also.

good work. i say keep the lights till they break and i dig the cup o noodle exhaust tip. real pimperish. :p:

suprized it took that long for someone to pick up on the cup o noodles tip ;p and i think i might just wait the visor off...it has the lights but i planned on takeing them out and trying to bondo up the holes camo paint is comming as soon as i get the rockers and cab corners fixed ;D

Looks good so far.

It sort of reminds me of my old truck, although yours is a bit higher. Keep the cablights (I loved mine).. ditch the visor and use it's sale towards saving for the next round of build-ups .

If you dont want the lighted visor, I'd either sell it or trade it with some one who has a non lighted, I know when I bought the moonvisor for my 85 it wasn't cheap. If I was closer I'd trade you for the non lighted visor on my 77 :D
