fourth is my door with custom kick panels
and last one is how i did my box. not done yet cause i wanted to see how it sounded, so far im really happy with it. the sub is a audiobahn alum10q, an old one. i think i have it running to 1000watts about. not sure what the amp does at 3 ohms. but the amp is getting to hot fans are next.

Looks good. I'm jealous. Your almost done and I'm just getting started. Did you glass those door pods up yourself? If so any reason why you didn't point the mids toward the passengers instead of horizontally? I just ordered all the stuff to do mine, but I'm going to do the lower door panels all in one piece since my drivers side one is messed up already. Also, how'd you attach them?

cause focal's are deep and i had a limit on just how big to go. if i was to aim them up then it would push the speaker out even more. as it is, people have a little hard time getting in. but it is okay. i did glass them myself with the help of my old boss. cool **** i like fiberglass. i don't have any rear speakers yet, and not sure if i ever will just because those are so clear and loud. you don't notice how they are aimed. going 40mph the person next to me can here is clear.

still thinking if i should dynamat the whole car. my buddy did his scout II and it made a 200% difference everywhere, not just for sound quality. so idono.

If you're thinking about dynomat there are a few other brand names you might consider before shelling out the dough for the name dynomat. www.secondskinaudio.com is a great one that I've used before. Check out their forum for info on them and others. I've met the owner at the warehouse since their based near me, and saw all the products in person. I also used their version of dynomat pro and their ceramic based coating above my headliner. Install was a breeze and it worked great. Tell him mini_mull, the short chic from Queen Creek sent ya. I need to order some more now that I think about it.

well thanks, im always down to try something new depending on the price. i get dynomat really close to cost though, but ill give them a call to see how much. cause if i do something it needs to be soon before i get my act together and carpet it.

awesome review. just got back from tahoe and was thinking about buying some dampening material today. think i might go with second skin if the price is right.

Ive become pretty good buddies with the author of the sound deadener showdown. Its funny, that test has really sat the industry on its ear. No comsumer ever tested the products before like Don did. It proved some company's claims were true, while others were not. That test single handedly proved Elemental Designs was seilling bargain basement crap mat they were trying to pass off as high-grade butyl rubber mat, almost bringing the company to their knees, and forcing them to change their product. It also proved Second Skin Damplifier Pro not only competes with Dynamat Extreme, it surpasses it, for less money.

I use Second Skin Damp pro personally... love it. In fact I like it so much, I eat it for breakfast. But if I was more concerned about my budget, Id purchase raamat BXT. If you want the BEST, go with secondskin. If you want the best bang for your buck, go with raamat. Both Anthony, owner of SS, and Rick, owner of raamat, are awesome guys. You wont be dissappointed with their product quality, or the customer service.
