Almost Rust Free PICS

Duhhhhhhhh OK, now that I see the rest of the photos I see it's a Blazer, but is it the same one in the 1st photo? Seeing the sun visor and the red front fenders in the initial photos throws me off.

That's one heck of a home project. How long has it taken you? I admire your ambition ! The running board thing still bothers me and I wonder if I could be getting into the same problems. No salt on the roads down here but this is my hunting vehicle and I get out into water, cow crap and mud. The wife just loves me when I come home and park it in the garage overnight and she has to go out in the morning and smell the stinky garage :-) :haha:

That is one helluva job you did there. Great looking truck.:bow::bow::bow:

Too bad I like the big tires and little lift so my fenders tend to come up a little short then I get the rattle can itch. I know what all you mean about body work. Have done several different cars/trucks in my lifetime and body men earn their pay.......

Again great looking job. Wish I could lay paint like that.

BTW a little off subject, but where you heading too in the great state of Alabama?

The black and silver is what it use to look like. It was well on its way to a rot box. So I got a new shell, doors, fenders, hood, and bed floor. Alot of sanding and a lil paint. Now she is beautiful. LOL Not bad for my 2nd paint job ever. I was so happy I didnt get any orange peel or cracks.

Yeah those DEE ZEE running boards suck a$$. Easiest way to kiss your rockers goodbye. When mI unbolted them a good chunk of rocker fell off too.

Did it come with the sun visor or are you adding it? I think they look cool but after talking with several people who have added them I've changed my mind. They all say they create a LOT of wind noise on the road and REALLY drop the gas milage. All of them have regreted installing them. I guess if you're just cruising around town it'd be no big deal. Down here, everytime I need to go somewhere it's a 20 - 30 mile trip at highway speeds.

Nice work. Will be interested in what you do with the interior.
