If you are ever back in IF let me know :D That is a sweet truck

I will most definately drop you a line. My grandparents live kind of out of town, but we go in plenty. And we typically only go to see them. Merle and Beth Griebenow, ever heard of them? We moved down to hell (Houston) when I turned 8, so I don't know road names too well, but I kinda know my way around there haha.

Sharp looking truck! :waytogo: I like the cab mounts. Do you have the cab mounts bolted or welded to the frame? I've been thinking of redoing my mounts and might go with something like yours.

I actually made them myself. they will be bolted, and maybe spot welded, but most likely not. I like 'em too!

come on man, I am in the same club you are in (old trucks new frames) and am dying to see that beast

yeah, I love old trucks like that too. could you email the pics too [email protected] ? I have been considering a swap like this, but I'm not sure if I have the cajonies and knowledge to make it work....

For those of you who want some pictures... I will try to get some out tonight. As for my cooling system. I am gonna use a new radiator built for the '54 and two electic fans. She gets plenty of air since the front is so open on the earlier model trucks.

The blue truck is what I started with, and yes, I'm redoing it. It looks pretty nice in the pictures but in real life it wasn't so nice.

I went into this project making this a weekend wheeler, but with all the money and time invested, and how the final product will be... this might be a once every other month wheeler. Sorry guys... on a lighter note... I do have a dirtbike hahaha.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

My dad and I built a 1954 2wd and it is nice, but you did what I wanted to do to it. drat drat.
