Alt wiring ???

I am doing the serpintine belt conv on my M1009 and my current alt on the V-belt set up has a two wire plug that goes in the side of the alt.The serp belt alt has a 4 wire plug on it.So how do I need to wire the alt ?? This was removed from a 92 Chevy van with the 5.7 TBI motor.
