Is there a cheap alternative to dynomat? I've been told before that tar roofing covering will do the job, just stink for a while(also told Dynomat can do that too). My Saturn is like a cardboard box with speakers in it. Might as well not be a shell. People hear my radio as loud as I do from 20 feet away. It would simply cost me too much to dynomat a 4 door car and the trunk, and if I get ambitious the roof or some other stuff. It would blow my budget for new speakers(which it needs since anything about 30 volume or 00 bass it crackles.

Hell 1 sq ft of that is $1.

10"x10" of dynamat is $19.99

I'm ordering 40 sq of that and we will see how that works out.

I'm installing the V1 right now. Stuff seems pretty good, haven't cranked up the sound yet to see how it sounds. Need new speakers, this is mostly so everyone else doesn't listen to it a lot. I did the outer door panels and the metal inner structure. Working on the trunk right now, just took a break for Family Guy.

You just paint it on with a brush. I haven't tried it personally but I've heard a lot of good things about it.
