Alternator Qurestion

88 K-5 Silverado...
whats the amps rating for the alt stock? mine is being a pain and i want something bigger whatever it is i want at leat 100amp
and i got another Q
can i run a "single wire" alternator even though its TBI and has i believe 3 on it now??? and if so how
