what is the best way to determine if i fried the regulator in my alternator. its the cs-130d alternator in a '96 c1500. the alternator isn't charging and i thing its because i let the battery die. i heard that on these alternators once the battery runs out of juice the alternator won't charge it because of some wierd engineering in the check circuit on these alternators. so i need to figure out if i fried the regulator, or if the myth is true on the check circuit and i just need to charge my battery with a charger.
