aluminum beadlocks

hope this ant to stupid of a questin but i was thinking the other day it be cool to have beadlocks. Problem is i already got 16.5 x 12 mickey thompson classic 2 rims. I see kits online for weld on beadlock kits for steel rims everywhere but no one seems to make aluminum ones why is that. I know most people cant weld AL i guess but my freind said he can have them weled at his shop at work. I thnk ive seen AL beadlocks before from weld rims or somebody. so what the deal guys.

They make aluminum weld on kits, but not for a 16.5. You might give them a call though, they do custom stuff all of the time.

are those just the ring that weld on prices or complete ready to go wheels. I just want something like a DIY beadlock weld on rings if that possible
