Which ones are easier to work with, which ones are stronger, lighter and can be repaired if damaged. Next on the list is beadlocks and 42's or 44's. Also are H1's weight worth there strength?

aluminum.

Lighter
prettier
harder to repair
higher cost

steel

Heavier
cheaper
easily repaired
stronger

h1s are kinda wishy washy for me.

Sure they are awesome being a double beadlock, but they weigh a ton, and your limited on tire size to a 16.5.

Sure there are companies still making 16/5s but for how long? what if you need something local? I dunno

aluminum is harder to repair than steel but I wouldnt say that they are weaker. I prefer aluminum but the cost is what keeps me from getting some.

And I wouldnt say that H1s are necessarily strong, so no I dont think the weight is worth their strength. the outer rings are easily bent, that is why so many companys sell rim stiffeners. I had a set of H1s and while they are awesome as far as beadlocks go they were heavy, 70lbs a piece for the wheel and mag runflat. I would search for some of the threads on H1s before you think about getting them.

I've always liked the h2 wheels with internal beadlocks they are a 17in wheel and I think that's the size alot of companies are starting to build towards.
