Not your typical 'tard thread.

Have a buddy with a Toyota that is looking at picking up a set of 40" MT/R's super cheap. Problem is that they need a 17" rim, and he'd like to keep it light and stick with aluminum wheels.

H2 rims are 17's but they're 8 on 6.5, H3 rims are 6 on 5.5 (what he needs) but they're 16's. Do any of the current GM trucks come with 17", 6 on 5.5, aluminum rims? IE, what should we look for to find a take off set of rims that'll fit his tires and his truck.

TIA

Nevermind, EVERYTHING Chevy comes with 17's these days.

Anybody know the width and backspace specs on some of them? That's rather important for fitting this particular tire on this particular truck.

Yeah I was gonna say man, damn near every GM truck has 17's these days so that shouldnt be a problem...

Anyways if the backspace is the same as the OBS trucks which it should be then it would be around 4.25-4.5

What he said...most everything ive seen come through has a "stock" backspacing keeping everything under the fenders basically.
