Am I crazy? 1986 K5 Blazer “rustoration”

Been a while since i posted. Haven’t made a lot of progress, been busy with work.
I managed to get the tail gate/ tail light backing plates installed and new rear crossmember installed. I also managed to score a new tailgate! They seem to make limited production runs on them so its very hit or miss on availability.

No you are not! It's alot of work but its worth in the long run!
I have 82 K5 with 1st Gen W250 47r 205 transfer case and 1 tons. I just finished my upgrade to a 94 cummins powersteering pump and vacuum pump. So I had to make 2 brackets. First pictures. Are the brackets for the bottom and second is for the brace for the throttle panel.

Nice work! How much reinforcement did you have to do to the frame to hold that 12V in there?
