Am I crazy for starting at 6k?

I wouldn't say no...here's a few listings off the Boston CL ...

1986 Chevrolet Silverado Blazer 4x4 ** California truck

1972 GMC Jimmy, /blazer for sale/trade

There are several others in the 1000-4000 dollar range, but most were molested heavily,or been used to plow, and are rusty..

Old K5's still sell for pretty high prices here, especially if they aren't rotted to death, like most of the ones remaining are..maybe the prices are high, but face it--they ain't making them any more, and good examples are getting harder to find, and demand more $$$$...

Looks to be in great shape...to bad about the vandalizing, no insurance for that?

Price seems ok to me if all the tires were good.

That doesn't seem right you got 250...you probably got 5 or more in the last two days, try again.
Or pm Steve.

Oh maybe you have to pay for the year!?? :dunno:

I think you have to be a paying member to use the classifieds.

Lol! There you have it!

He did say that he would work with a buyer on the price.

For trucks like these, location seems to be a big deal. Up north, it seems that even trucks that need work fetch a high price if they're not rusted out. Supply and demand I suppose. Here south of the Mason-Dixon line, that kind of price would require a good runner that has a nice body and is sound mechanically. The ones I've seen around here with paint/body issues or a decent body but needing mechanical work generally don't fetch more than a couple grand unless something is particularly special about them.

For no more than it costs to put glass in one of these rigs, you should fix the windshield and tail gate glass. Find a set of matching tires on Craigslist, and then try to sell it.

There use to be a Craigslist link in the first post.

It was a vandalized 1989 Blazer.
