Am I saying this right?

So I've been looking around for what I think is called a front upper valance for a 73 K5 and all the salvage yards seem to not understand what I'm talking about

This is the piece in question


It connects the top of the grill to the radiator support and holds the hood latch

And if you have one you'd like to get rid of let me know

Probably incorrect for an older Chevy but if it were a car with a core support serviceable in pieces it would be an "upper tie bar". I looked at LMC real quick and they don't offer that piece.

i only know of that as 1 whole core support for our trucks .

Yeah, you could try staying the "top of the core support".

Ok, I found a guy parting out a 79 near me so I'll see if he has what I need but if not then back to the salvage yards
