Am I sick?

I've had the bug lately to do a resto/light wheeler project out of a TLC or an EB (pics below)...then after a few years, maybe swap the drivetrain out of the K5 into it and have a bulletproof rig. Am I sick for thinking this way?

I'm headed the other way. I'm ready to put together some 2wd terrors. Trying to get motivated to get some real work done on my 70 LeMans convertable. Been looking for real poncho 400 or 455 for it and setting aside the stock BB350. Freaking M22's are throught the roof. I saw a picture of a T56 (six speed) I thought they were top loaders but they are not so I may actually be able to get one into my car without hacking up the floor and consol.

As much as I keep trying to talk myself into working on that car next I have some other stuff I want to do. I foud a dirt cheap 87 6.2 2wd burb. It's popped in the front so clip is done. Frame is strait. Motor is intact. It was starting being parted so I need a few things.
Clip
Tranny
front seats
Some interrior.
Odds and ends.
I can get a drivable vehicle for about $500-600 depending on the clip.

I really want to Mad Max it. Make it into a 87 Avalanch. Get it light. I figure hacking the top and either going to a truck tail gate or no gate I can loose 300lb. Then take it in a pre runner style with a cage being both internal and exo in the bed area.
Flat black with ghost flames and skulls. Real hwy terror DD that gets 20mpg. hehehe. Just make it so ugly it's cool. Hog out the fender till 35's fit. Park it next to every benzo and Elante I can find. Flog the 6.2 till I kill it and drop a amped up CTD in it. With the Deisel Vin I could do anything with it really. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
