Amazing 80 K5 only 6K miles

Repost of ebay/craigslist section posting from begining of week.

but yes clean vehicle and 205 only in 80 model year trucks/blazers/burbans.

I don't believe it for a second.

Ive seen that sort of rattle an work before on the framerails, springs and axles. Wasn't there a guy trying to sell an OD green Blazer with a similar paint treatment? The exterior paint looks like a respray also based on faded paint on the door jams and interior door areas. Why would such an "original" truck need that much work if it truly only had 6000 miles on it?

Show me a paper trail that proves the mileage (registrations, service, etc) and we'll talk. Otherwise, this is just a tarted-up truck with a rolled-back odometer and a stupid-high price.

Agreed, and you can see the "shadowed" areas underneath where some got missed. Also, I'm not 100% but I don't think that body side molding was stock...it's not even straight.

definitely a douched undercarriage...

the guy that was doing that was selling cucv's.. but he painted everything, door panels, seats, your dog, yada...

someone liked it , $18,800 could have bought a nice late model diesel for that much

Evidently they hauled it there without the wheels on it. The paint on the drums and wheel studs are not scratched or removed.

It is good looking truck though. It's only worth what someone will pay for it.

I don't know if I believe it. Was it really an option to have carpet but no rear side panels? And I hate when people lather on a bunch of black on an undercarriage to make it look good.

Side panels seem to be a hit or miss depending on trim level . I've seen some nice blazers that didn't have the rear side panels or the evidence that they ever had

I call bs too, notice the primer on left-side wheel opening.

yup.. and from the factory the undercarriage paint surfaces vary from component to component, floor vs axle vs frame, etc... it's not like they go in and shoot an even coat on everything.. like that obviously is...

From the picture in the ad, it looks like a spotty factory job to me at least with the undercoating. Similar spray patterns on my truck's underside.

Of the actual under side of the floor, possible. But that doesnt explain away the black paint on the wheel studs, etc.
