AMP:

Volfenhag ZX-7160

Speakers:

Pyramid PNW10590 10" Sub Pentagon 1000W

What can be told about these? I have an opportunity to get these(they are brand new and never installed)from a guy next door for next to nothing.

- for the amp: Volfenhag ZX-7160 $100 800 Watt Max Power
4 X 50 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohm
4 X 75 Watts RMS @ 2 Ohms
* I think this would be ok

- for the speakers: Pyramid PNW10590 $34 ea.
Power Handling: 500 Watts RMS / 1000 Watts Peak
* they look like a pile of junk to me

Go ahead and just build your system right. Get a JL 500/1 and (2) 10w6's in a ported box.

I refuse to own JL's. I had some a few years back, bought them off the JL truck at an audio show, they lasted me 3 weeks and JL refused to warranty them

Yea they only warranty if you buy and get them install at a dealer. I have always had good luck with JL.

I'm not looking for super high powered stuff, I'm just looking for a decent sound and these here that I can get from the neighbor he is asking $20
