amp guage fuse

bought a amp gauge for my 86 k5. simple hook up 2 wires for the light one power one ground and then the two wires that run to the starter for the alternater depending on your set up for the charge back. my question is, will i be ok with putting an in line fuse on both sides of the gauge? and what size fuse should i run.

Its gonna be pretty big since an amp gauge goes between your power source and your rigs wiring harness . Use a factory style fusible link like on your juntion block . Since basically an amp gauge becomes a junction block .

Fusible links are sized based on your wire size for the circuit its on .
