And discuss….

I could be wrong but I think there were 2 different ProComp brands (at least). there was the 1 that has tires, lift kits and other 4x4 stuff and then another I would see on eBay that had aluminum intakes and distributors and other engine parts.

Nitro gear sets have a bad rap according to my axle guy. I did buy a Powr Lok carrier from them a decade ago. Not sure who the manufacturer was, no issues
Also had a bad experience with a Nitro gear lunch box locker for my 14 bolt. It never unlocked around corners, or ever, for that matter. It was like it was machined too tight.
Pulled it and dropped in a Yukon grizzly locker years ago and I've had no issues since.

My intake is a Pro Performance if I remember right. They had some other stuff on the market also. Is that the brand everyone is thinking of?

This problem is one that is so large its hard to even fathom, and most of the goals aren't even related to the idea of selling stolen IP for net profit.

The goal for them is to build large scale infrastructure fast in a communist regime while also creating an environment where other countries are beholden to them.

Enter state owned factories. Where there is no requirement for the factory to make an actual net profit, as the regime will give x amount per unit shipped. Make sure your countrymen must purchase the regime goods because import products cost too much. Production of the most units is the only thing that matters.

All this can be achieved via currency manipulation. Keep it low, the IP will flow in, and they will produce the purchase ordered number. After that they keep producing and those products flow out as counterfeits or extra numbers direct from factory etc. These products are exports. Stash that income overseas and never bring it back. The opponent country buys your garbage like mad, cause its cheap. Making its own produced products less attractive. Even better for domination. Maybe start funding pro-strong regulation organizations and fund groups that want more regulation in industry in the opponent country, even better.

The only thing we can do as American Manufacturers is one, never send your ip to those regimes, and don't have them produce any parts for you. This way you only get ripped off by small business style counterfeit guys. One thing I've thought of doing is creating some models with incorrect critical geometry. I get emails every week for these small counterfeit companies asking to quote parts. I manufacture everything in house so I don't care about them. But if I started sending drawings with incorrect shit, who knows they may start to counterfeit that stuff and it won't even work correctly. Fight fire with gasoline.

I had a car i just wanted to get running. didn't want to invest a lot into it. I bought a speedmaster intake, and an ignition system. absolute trash! the intake "worked", but casting was rough. the ignition was absolute garbage! car never ran! ended up throwing the whole thing out. no customer service, no tech support....
first and last time... and have no issue talking trash about them!!
JUNK!!!!!
