You're forgetting the torque converter... 2:1 ?

The torque converter will only slip at low RPM's..... I've never seen you drive in person (and would like to) but from what I hear.... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

anywho, looks good marv. linkages will be fun to play with. also i know of a few transaxles that dont drive to well with only one CV shaft installed....
any thoughts on this if the problem comes up? did you split the transaxle appart and weld the center section together?

im very curious on this project and wish i could get some hands on with it.
but i cant, so i wont. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

how much tha addaptor cost ya on the two 208's? im guessing that and the drive shaft's is where most of your cash is at....

I don't know where these ideas pop up into your head, but I really like where this is going. Cheap, effective, and practical. Will it be a 2 seater or a 1 seat side/center engine AZ buggy? Plannin 1/4 eliptic or going coils this time? Or maybe with the low weight you can pull off fox style air shocks (adjustable and around $150 ea IIRC).

Keep up the awsome work, I am very intrigued /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

It will be 2 seater.

The front suspension will be pretty mundane... Just leaf springs!

The rear will be a modified 1/4 el/3 link. Kinda like the front suspension on my FunBuggy.

Marv

marv, sounds like a plan. maybe you could send it to me and i can high speed desert test it forya.... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

You're on.... if it'll go high speed /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif !

This one won't be as adequately power'd as the FunBuggy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
