I am in work on rewireing my 79 blazer and everything is good except for the dash i have alot more whires on the old light switch then i do on the new harness aney info would be much aprecaite it

I used the same light switch out of my '79 and put itin my '72 so idk what else really to add here

I hope you wire better than you spell

But, all you need to find out is which of the wires operate the equipment you have on your truck and splice them into your old switch harness. I did the same on my 72 but ran the additional wires to my offroad lights.

What ever brosif i dont know alot about that **** lay off i asked for advise not rude ass coments i just got back from a deployment and wanna get my **** running before i leave on my next one so thanks for your help

Iif you want help you're going to have to settle down and give us some more details. Is the "new" wiring harness a stock factory harness or is it an aftermarket harness? If it's aftermarket what brand is it and what is the part number? Did you order the harness for the same year as your blazer? There are different style harness's according to the year since the wiper switch moved from the dash to the steering column as well as the headlight dimmer switch moved from the floor to the column as well.

The harness on my truck is stock but i dont know the year of the one i bought. its just a universal one from summit but i appreciate the tips thanks alot do you think it would be a bad idea to wire all the lights to seperate toggel switches ? thanks
