I have been working on adding a block to the steering arm to level out the steering angle and everyone keeps saying that a two inch lift doesn't need one. This morning it hit me that I have the engine, transmission and transaxle on the shop floor. Could it be that the extreme angle is being caused because the front is higher because there is no weight?

I think I'll wait till the drivetrain is installed before I install the spacer block to the steering arm. I think that the weight might cause the angle to be acceptable.

Thoughts?

Yes it will definitely change in height without all that weight. I would wait you should not need steering correction for that much lift.
