Periodically my lockup converter will not lockup. I had this problem a while back and it turned out the thermostat was sticking open. Replaced thermostat and all was well for about 9 months, now it has started doing it again, not very often. pulled out my aldl cable and looks like the engine temp is low again, Checked it right after I drove it and it was not locking, then finally locked and checked temp and it was 158. I'm guessing I have a bad thermostat again, unless the temp sensor could be off a few degrees, but I thought when they go bad they normally peg out to frigid??
