I have a lining project coming (soon) after paint. Just by looking around, Al's Liner practically has me sold for the ease of application - Its sprayable. I was dreading rolling Herculiner and for some blind reason Im not a Rhino fan.
I saw a Herculiner kit at O'Reilly's for approx 80-90 and just found Als Liner for about the same, a little cheaper actually. The hopper kit is reuseable in other applications so it isnt a one shot and toss item - A worthwhile investment for future projects IMHO.
Im not exactly educated in the department of liners, but at this time I am diving deep in to research of anything I can find to further sale the decision to use Als Liner.
I can only suggest if you have questions about a particular liner, dont put off the Google (Or other search engine) . There is a wealth of information waiting to be retrieved online.
When it comes down to the final decision though, only you can make it, based on what you have found out about the product yourself, information obtained from such resources as this forum, and the depth of your pocket.
I think a good idea for you is to grab a few cans of Duplicolor and spray one area, such as
lectric80's picture - The tailgate. You'll get an idea of the finished application first hand and be able to move forward from there. And by just doing the tailgate - Your pocket wont be emptied.
Just my long and drawn 2 cents
