Just what I needed another buggy. this will make 5 buggies although one is for sale; one is being built, another is waiting to be redone.
a good friend I used to wheel with that lives in San Antonio put his buggy up for sale. it has been sitting for 3 years under the carport. we talked and struck a deal with his trailer thrown in for about what he has in the axles. when I told my wife about it even she said it was a good deal. I know the pics aren't the best, just what he sent me

it has a Chevy Dana 60/14 bolt combo with 5.13's and Detroits and drive flanges
4.3 V6 running on propane with a 465 going to a Dana 300 with JB Conversions 4:1
leafs in front and 4 linked in the rear
new 39.5 Iroks on recentered H1 wheels

thinking about changing it over to an automatic and doubling up the transfer case with a front range box of some sort. maybe link the front also.

The D300 teralow kits have issues like the NP231?

Aw man. Glad it's going to someone like you and not getting parted out. I had no idea it was for sale but it seems alot of the guys are done. Only a handful left.

I have Teralow kits in my TJ and LJ and haven't had any problems with them. but I don't run them in high RPM either. I do have a Rubicon case out of an LJ that I bought for a JK, sold the JK and kept the case; well, just in case.

Man, I was the only conversation you had going and ya killed me

:haha:

I get up at 4 am to be at work at 5:30 am; so I try to go to bed about 8 pm. I just keep telling myself I have less than 2 years to go. :pimp1:

yeah, with the group I wheel with in Lubbock they have all gotten rid of their buggies for JKs. I tell them they can have both but I guess not everyone thinks like I do. LOL :D
then the group out of San Antonio is selling off or getting rid of their buggies also. I should get rid of mine, it has been over a year since I went wheeling, been working 6 days a week. but I plan on catching up when I retire. :pimp1:

update: I finally went and picked it up a couple of weeks ago. it had been sitting for 5 years. he threw his trailer in also and the tires were rotted so first stop was Discount Tire for 5 new tires. I brought it back home and took it to a friend that wanted to borrow it to go wheeling the next weekend. we put fresh fluids in it. did a little work and he took it wheeling.
my plan is to pull the 465/Dana 300 out for a Turbo 350 with Dual Toyota cases. the front leafs are shot, they are resting on the bump stops so might as well link it. I have some 42" MTR stickies and RaceLine wheels for it so the H1 and Iroks will be for sale.

Gathering parts right now so when it starts getting redone I will post up the progress pics :pimp1:

question: I have a set of Fox 2.5 shocks I was going to put on the front of the conglomeration buggy but since it will only have Toyota axles and this has a Dana 60 should I use the bigger shock on the front of this and order Fox 2.0 for the conglomeration?

If you have to buy a set, then yes. Would be cheaper. Valving is the important part.

right now the conglomeration has a set of 2.0 Fox 18" blue end shocks on the rear. I have a set of 2.5 Fox 16" blue end shocks for the front. this buggy has a set of Race Runner shocks on the rear of it. since this buggy will have the Dana 60 front and it is heavier I thought about using the 2.5 on the front of it and getting smaller shocks for the conglomeration since the Toyota axles would be lighter.

yes, I will either have to buy 2 or 4. depends on if I can live with having different brands front and rear.

Unless you are desert racing, either setup will work with either axles. So at this point, it is just your preference.

Lol! You running a smoke tune on the cummins!?

no, I am not real sure what is up with it. back in April 2016 I had went to Roanoke to pick up some tires. on the way back it dropped the turbo. being the cheapskate that I am I ordered a cheap China turbo off eBay. I also ordered some Crazy Carl's air horn and intercooler pipes as well as a 4" exhaust. I had a "friend" that has a shop and owed me money on some parts tell me he would install it and we could take it off what he owes me. he had it for quite a while and used it to move his shop. I went and got it and took it home and it sat parked for a while. when I started using it again it was really smoking and using more oil than usual. this truck used to get 22 MPG unloaded on the highway now it is 14 or so.
now that I have one of my other trucks back going (hit a deer) I plan on looking into this one.

I got lucky when I went to pick it up. I had planned on making a quick run down and back. things didn't work out as planned and I ended up staying at my daughter's place in San Antonio. she is in the Air Force. I had planned on getting up early to head back home but she had her E5 to E6 promotion ceremony that day so I got to go to it.

this is what it currently looks like. in the previous pics are some 42" MTR stickies in the bed of the truck I will probably put on it and on the trailer are some 39" PitBull Rockers for my K5.

I bought a couple of T350 transmissions off @Capt Ron and @rderosier that I need to go pick up as soon as this virus thing is over. bought a 23 spline Advance Adapters for the T350 to Toyota cases and have a Toyota doubler with 2.28 in the front case and 4.7 in the rear waiting to put in this thing and see how it does.
