How and where are they attached. Who has it on the frame and who on the body only. Pics would be great. under the Cab or is your roof top gone?

Mine is just resting there as of now but by the end of next week it should be all bolted down and tied to the frame in 4 places using some bushings from Kert. It will also go all the way to the back eventually will all sorts of triangulation. I will post some pictures when I am done but here is how it is now, 2" and 1.75" .12 wall HREW

alwaysssssss go to the frame, sometimes the tubing can push through if its just mounted to the body.

There are a ton of threads on this subject, try a search. If you do it RIGHT and design it RIGHT a body mounted cage is more then strong enough. Im in the middle of doing my cage and in will be MOSTLY to the boby, BUT it will ALSO tie to the frame at stratigic locations. A cage to the body is better then no cage at all period. You have to tie your seats to the cage though. Im using not just the floor but at the back where the vertical pillers are where the tail gate closes, Im tieing into those too. Also using double and tripple walled locations of the floor and under structure.
