The center pin on 63's is in the center.... But - it measures 32" from the front eye and 32" from the rear eye (if you measure along the arc of the spring - not straight line)....

So... why does everybody call 'em 63's? /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

The main leaf actually measures 64" long.

I haven't ever understood where the 63" name came from. Ever since I used my first set back in 98-99, I have known that they were 64" long.
