So I was looking on CL trying to find a clean crew cab I could transfer my running gear to when I see this:




I made him a low ball offer and got it.
it has 454/465/205/D60/D70
It also has a nice winch bumper.
And it has a Li3ft gate which will be nice for the parts pickup and delivery.:thumb:

It's a NV truck, no rust a few wavy panels, and a dent in the right front fender.
It has 129k and shows it.
The driver side seat is a little worn but the rest of the truck is pretty clean.
I know I will keep this one but I want a 6.2 in it so I want to sell the 454 TBI.

How the hell are you going to get it past the CA emissions wiht a diesel swap?

Bad ass though, i REALLY want to drive a truck like that. Have never driven a 465, well, or a dually for that matter.

Well it drives like a TRUCK.:D
It has real power and I go thru the gears quick and at 25 in 4th gear just feather the throttle and it pulls with the blazer on the back of it.

Just can't find anything like that around here. Seems like all the '87 to '91 V30's are out of state. People in Kansas must be dumb homo's for not buying and driving those years of tonners. :doah:

Hey now, having 4 cc OS not a sickness ...
Well one is gone now, the other is being parted I will be left with wheels tires and frame.
The thirď will be built into a wheeler details to come.
And this one will stay the same,short of putting the diesel .
As for how, it will go to dmv as diesel, they will verify vin and see It's diesel and I will say It's how I got it.
Sometimes this works, if not the engine is from an 89 so I will go to a referee and get it changed.
 
nice score.. i procrastinated a while ago.. then decided to do it but it was gone..

a k30 454/smc/60/14bff - $600... i was contemplating but that money was for my motor upgrades... didnt know if i wanted a 454 over my 350....
decided to go for it.. and gone.. could have bought it anyway.. sold the d60 front and had all my money back...:doah:
 
nice find... im sorry i sold my 90 and 91.. really should have keep the 91. never find one like that gain.
 
So it was originally a diesel and some one put the 454 in there? I personally would keep the big block. Yeah gas mileage would be better with a 6.2 but those late 80's early 90's big block were good performers.

I could pull it and deliver it real close too.
$1000 complete.
we can figure out what to add for delivery, I will be doing antoher delivery there so i can split the cost.
