okay, I got the (2) 3/4" bolts out from the core support, the (4) bolts (2 from each side) from the fenderwell. 1 bolt by the hood hinge (per side) and 1 bolt by the door hinge (each side)
am I missing anymore bolts? I took out 8 bolts, and I can lift it up at the front, but at where the door is I can only pull it towards my body, not up. It looks like there is tight space between the inner fenderwell and the firewall, should I just hammer it down a bit there, or what can I do? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

What about the 1 UNDER the bottom of the fender right next to the rocker area..You can only see it if you are laying under there...

maybe /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

i got those 2 bolts out, is there anymore? I need to do this soon, because my helper ( my mom /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif) is going to work, then i wont beable to do it until tomorrow.

I just replaced my 79 front clip with one off a 82. I think you got all of them /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yep, on most k5's I would have been able to take it off... but since mine had the bling bling running boards, there was a small screw holding it on that I had to break.
Then I was able to lift it up 4 inches at the front... then squish my finger /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Tomorrow I will have the front clip off /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif My mom went to work so I couldn't get it off tonight.

Thanks for all the help!!

dude you are killing me /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

you have the 2 3/4" bolts

4-6 1/2 bolts...dont forget the ones at the top front of the fender under the top edge

the ones at the lower valence

a 9/16 at the bolt of botton inside of the fender by the rocker, go under the truck,

open your door, another 9/16 by the door hinge

open the hood, another 9/16 near the hood hinge on the winshild cowl.

also a 9/16 and a hand full on 1/2" bolts on the wheel wells.

I understand you are in a rusty place, but come on the blazer is kicking your ass on this,

now go chop shop that ole girl and show it who is boss.

also are you even palning to reuse the fenders and inner fenders? core support? if they are toast start the hacking already /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

also a big tip, replaceing sheet metal on these pigs is a lot cheaper, quicker and you will stay more sane then trying to save a rusted out fender /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

-good luck /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

yeah I found them all... they were just hiding /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I plan on narrowing it, but just in case for some reason I had to go back, I kept it in one piece /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Thanks
