another header ???

going with the gm crate 230-300 cant decide if worth the $ difference
and a raptor tranny
i like a good deal, but i want good performance and durability

Well I suppose no one else likes them but me but I have stock headers, yes thats right stock. Well I fibbed a little there manifolds but are made from tubing and are all welded together and are 100% stainless steel. Half header, half manifold, a headerfold. GM put them on there one tons and such in the late '80s, but quit because they were expensive. They have really funky looking giant A.I.R. tubing on them. Just pull of that crap and plug the holes and you're good to go. They have all the provisions for manifold heated air and even a heat sheild for your starter. There's a picture of them in Peterson's on there 101 performance upgrade for SB Chevy.
