another hi steer question

so im looking at my hi steer today...ive been told that the stock tie rod is to long for hi steer...one tre is like 4 inches long the other is short...i was told that you can run a dodge tre on the side thats long and fixes the problem...anyone got the part number and if i didnt go this route would it be accetable to cut and sleve my current tie rod

ES2233L : GM pass TRE (long threaded with stabilizer hole).
ES2010L : Dodge pass side TRE (short threaded rod)
ES2234R : driver side TRE
ES2027L : high misalignment drag link end
ES2026R : high misalignment drag link end

what are theese part number for (brand) also if anyone know if this will make my tie rod fit then that will be help full as well
