Another K5!!!!!!!

ladies and gentlemen,

i am now a proud owner of my third k5.

i bought it yesterday evening, saw the ad, looked at the truck, drove it around the block a couple of times and paid the guy $532.00 (this whole process took about 30 minutes). its a 1980, 350, sm465.
the body is CRAP, but strong engine (rebuilt 4 years ago)and tranny (also rebuilt 4 years ago), and good condition running gear.
at first i was thinking of using it for parts for my 78. but now i want to build a desert racer, any ideas?

come on guys, i was looking for something a little cheaper. a poor mans desert racer. i need some simple ideas for suspension to make it a little more durable when bouncing around.
