well i have a little delema, i need new shocks but plan on lifting the truck later, so my question is.

if i have 2 inch springs in front with blocks in the rear with 3/4 springs could i out a shock meant for a 4 inch lift on there without compressing the shock to much?

also if i was to order the 4 inch lift anyway how would a shackle flip with 3/4 springs in the rear sit level with 4 inch springs in the front?

these will be bolted to 10 bolts, when i do my 3/4 swap down the road, will that affect my lift any?

and lastly if i order just front springs what would i need to do it right?

extended brake lines or just new brake lines? drop pitman arm?

what do i completly need to do this right

well to do the front you would need brake lines if you will do any flexing. i havent done a pitman arm yet, but my steering is very loose so thats something that would need to be done.
for the 3/4 ton swap, i have a 14bolt in the back and my rear end sits higher but i also have a small block in the back so i dont think it would affect it much. but thats my .02

Hey i have a 6inch lift but i have the 14bFF in the rear and a diy4x shackle flip. I read on here that if u do the standard shackles it gets about 3.25 inches of lift. so if you do the 4 in the front you will want to go with the 4 inch shackle flip and the 6 inch shackles i think or do a zero rate to even it up. Extended brake lines are a must. i got mine front and rear braided stainless steel for 100 total. The steering arm corrects for the angle in the lift and is recommended. pain in the butt to install but will prevent problems down the road. with my 6 inch i didn't drop the transfer case i am just going to shim up the axle. you probably wont have to deal with that. the 14BFF requires a napa 447 u-joint in the rear and the front matches up fine. think about getting 16 inch or 16.5 inch rims when you do the swap because the calipers or dust shield hit a 15 inch rim. thats all i can think about right now.
