another oh so stupid question

I think I allready know the answer but I'll go ahead and ask.

I have a tbi 89 motor it has block off plate for mech fuel pump on it.

being it is FI does the cam have mech. fuel pump pushrod lobe on it or will i have to swap cams?

the cam does have a lobe for a mechanical fuel pump. i put the motor from an 89 caprice classic into a nova i had thats how i know
