Another one bites the dust......another one bites the dust...*UPDATE WITH PICS*

*sigh* this day sucks. Sittin at a redlight, hear a noise, blip the gas, and hear miscellaneous metallic grinding sounds, *&%$! So light turns green go, and have no 3rd gear, hit & miss 2nd, and have 1st, and have reverse....Just got dropped off the tow truck a few minutes ago. Theres metallic flecks floating in the fluid. I only got 6500miles on a rebuild. Im calling my tranny guy in a few, and see what the hell hes gonna do about it, cause 6500 isnt acceptable under any circumstances.

Im gonna drop the pan tomorow (when it aint raning) and see what pieces fall out. If it ends up being clutches, fine Ill put it back in, but if it ends up being hard parts.......I guess Ill join the sm465 guys, cause I can drop 2k on a th400 to be bulletproof, or 500 and swap in a 465. This day couldnt get anyworse(knock on wood).

I hear you on that. I when through my 4th TH350 and decied that the SM465 was better then putting the 2K in to a TH400. I love it so far just need to get my 2 nd gear pop out fix and all will be great.

Hahaha, I took that one in the middle of a neighborhood with a 15mm. :rotfl:

I feel your pain.

I pulled the Th350 out 3 times for misc problems before I went and got a 465 driveline. Lots of fun with that heavy arse 203.

Nice shot, I hope you kicked it a few times when we weren't looking.

[quopte]SOunds like it's time to upgrade to a built TH700R4[/quote]

Hey thats my line

Acually I have blown more TH 400s and TH 350s than I have 700R4s. But I wouldn't run one behind gobs of HP either.
