Well I got a hair and decided to buy a family oriented “hot rod” since my javelin and c10 don’t provide much room or ease of access. So I present to you the newest member of my fleet. 1970 Chevelle Malibu 4 door sedan. Factory 2 bbl 307 th350 car. Runs alright but will probably get the old 350 from my c10 when I built its new engine. Had some wheels kicking around and tossed some new tires on them and threw them on. Got all the interior and exterior lights operational. Now just slowly cleaning things up and repairing what I can while the kids napping or sleeping early in the am. Will have some rust repair to take care of probably this next winter( lower quarters, trunk seal lip and back window corners).

Sweet car. I had a 66 malibu 4 door no post for @10 years, My kids grew up being chauffeured around in it.

btw you can send those rallies hat and rings my way :D

I think it is funny how my generation bashes the "more door" cars. I always said "they are great family hot rods". I am seeing more of the younger gear heads sporting them. Cheaper to get into and easy for the family, just what they were designed for.

I sorely miss mine. I would still own if a tree hadn't crushed it.

Thanks guys yeah I love it. The kid does too, I let him sit in the front seat without his car seat and putted up the dead end county road slowly and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him so excited. Now every time we go outside he runs over to the car and tries climbing in it.
