I'd like to see this thing - it may well be a pre-production piece that somehow made it's way to the assembly line. There's all sorts of oddballs out there, this may be one.

Notice how the guy that wants to buy it keeps asking for the sale? Makes you wonder if the guy selling it just figured out it's really a 10 bolt or D44

Well if someone can make a 14 bolt FF into a front...I'm sure someone was stupid enough to do a 12 bolt at one time or another.

Just my 2 cents...until someone can prove the existance of a 12 bolt front beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Oh yeah? I'm going to put a 13 bolt full floating rear underneath mine, with 14.77:1 reverse cut gears and a BRA locker!

Despite what some others may say about this being fake, or the guy being stupid, or whatever else they may choose to believe, I don't doubt that 12 bolt fronts exist. Recently there was a post about custom 14bolt front ends. The general feeling regarding these seemed to be that they were only about as good as the Dana 60 components they were made with. However, even with that being true the company still produces them and thus a 14 bolt front does exist. A similar situation may have once arose with a 12 bolt. Does it provide greater strength? Probably not significantly. But does it exist? The idea that it does is certainly valid and there exists a good chance that they are around.
Additionally a couple of other reasons that a 12 bolt front may exist. Someone making a 4 wheel steering setup may have modified their rear 12 bolt in a manner that it now steers. Following this someone further adapted that axle to use it in the front. As well, this 12 bolt front may have come to exist out of desperation. I've known people who have put a Ford engine in a Chevy truck because that's the only engine they had available. Similarly if all you have available is a 12 bolt and you need a front end then you make a 12 bolt front end.

I'll believe it when I see... You never know what is out there. Look at all the stuff that has popped up in the muscle car arena. I just wish that if someone says they have one then have a pic ready! Cripes!, first thing everyone asks for when you are selling something or have something new or unknown is do you have pics?

the truth is out there... maybe alians planted a couple on earth to see it they would hold up to the earths gravity- which is simmilar to their planet. Scully and Molder will be all over it i'm sure.

Uhh I just straightend the guy out. He has a 10 bolt. If you guy's with 10 bolt fronts will climb under your truck most of the housings have GM12 cast into the side

I completly forgot it was there. Somebody else mentioned that in a reply. The guy is trying to throw a D44 locker out of a scout in it. He though he had bought a D44 but got a 10 bolt instead. Honest mistake if you look at the whole thing.
