Here's another Jimmy that I have been looking at: Blazer.I like this one better. I hope that there isn't much rust. What do you all think?

I have a lot of overtime that I will be putting in at work for the next 2-3 weeks. Plus if I can sell my 76' Monte Carlo, I can afford to start getting things in shape like a tune up or transmission.

Looks pretty straight and clean man. If it's rust and crack free, it sounds like a pretty good deal.

my 85 came with a 305... not the greatest SBC you'll find. If I had to do it all over again, I would have got an 87 or newer for factory FI. Is this gonna be a DD or a wheelin rig?

yeah if it's a 305, a GM crate 350 will soon take it's place. I am looking to build a mostly DD rig, thats not afraid to get dirty. I am thinking 6" lift and 35" tires, a mild 350 chevy, and a soft top.
