finaly installed the van 14bff with disk brakes, the last pic is a factory style bracket I made to adjust the length of the factory cables.

yes, feels the same when driving, at least the width of the rear is now even with the front axle. Not a big thing but it drove me nuts. The only reason I swapped the old 14 bolt out is because the spindle was out of round and it would leak. Luckily I found the van 14 bolt with chevywranglers help at a buddy,s salvage yard.
 
and what is the different in the van 14b ff? it's a couple inches wider if I remember correctly? that that require mods for the spring mounts?
 
Hey, that coupler for the parking brake cable looks familiar :haha: I had to do that to get mine to balance out when I got tired of cutting and crimping aircraft cable for the 400th time.

yes it is, its a little more visible because my homemade rear bumper is shorter than stock
 
i hate to bug you for pics but how does that skid attach? ive got a hack job holding my tank up but im not sure how it went together normally. if you could snap a few photos of the front swing part of the skid that would be awesome. then everyone else can see the sweetness of a clean texas truck :D
