Most of us add some protection as the wheeling gets harder ( took me a few years but I roll barred the Tan K5 ) , but more of us still need to . I still see some cut up truggy style rigs with stock seats and no tubes of any kind .

Even a simple roll bar is better than entrusting the factory sheetmetal .
 
If he would have landed a little different there would be a head bouncing down the trail. :yikes:
 
I hope he was ok but I hope it knocked some damn sence into him.
 
That looks like the pic of a 4runner that was up at Hollister Hills this last weekend. I was up there with some friends but didnt get to see this happen, I think it happened on the infamous Tank Trap.

yeah I think your right Ill try and find the link. the guy was wearing a seat belt and thats kinda what saved him from what I read.
 
Unfortunately - standard seat belts don't always keep your melon from getting squished in a roll-over. They aren't really designed for that motion when the top is being crushed. :(
 
that's absolutely insane.

if y'all don't have a cage - it should be one of your FIRST mods. you never know when you might need it.
