Another reason I don\'t own a Ford

Just spent like 4 hours grinding calipers on a friends '85 F-250 front axle to fit 15" 8-lug rims, and we still had to space the rim out 1/4 inch. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I spent about 30 minutes, maybe 45 minutes grinding my CHEVY Dana 60 calipers.

I hear ya, I exspected at least 4 hours of grinding for mine and ended up with less than an hour /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

What backspacing do you run? It took me over three hours to grind my 10 bolt, I'm thinking that with 4.25 bs, I'm going to have to really go to work.

I shouldn't really complain, considering the rims we put on had 4.25" backspacing and they were dual piston calipers. I guess I was just bitter that it took more of my time than I was expecting.
