Just curious, I have a 92 IFS k1500. I blew another cv-joint and dont want to replace it right now (no time to pull it apart) If i remove the half shaft at the flange and remove it at the outter cv joint, will I still be able to drive it as long as it is in 2wd? Im going to leave the stub shaft in so the bearings dont fall apart, but will I run into issues doing this?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I should also note, that the outter cv shaft has blow to pieces, so to take it apart i just have to cut the boot.

Yep should work, just make sure you you have the stub shaft in there and the nut torked down tight
