Another shock question.........

When using Furd shock towers, does it take a different shock. Say I want to put Rancho 9012 shocks on my junk using the towers, does it take shocks for a GM or a Ford? Is the top mounting the same for the two? Sorry, second question, using that shock setup, would it matter on the axle being used( read: dana60 or 10 bolt) ? Or would it matter on the axle being that they would mount the same on the bottom.
Any help would be appreciated. Trying to order parts but not sure on this one.

rancho's 9012. is the part number it doesn't matter if its a jeep, Ford, Dodge or Chevy. The mounting of the lower mount is the same. the upper will bolt into the ford tower then all you have to do is set the ford tower on the frame where ya want it and bolt it on.

Might think about getting the DT8000's!!! I felt like I have said this a dozen times in the last few days out here! They are cheaper, and everyone who own's 'em, loves 'em. As for PNs, I would just buy the longest extending version they have!

actually, on-road you'd prolly want stiff shocks... so when you corner your suspension isn't goin' wild on ya. Off road, of course, you'd want em softer so your suspension could work to its max potential.
