i am not familiar with the 6.2 or with chevy. so is there anything that i want
to check for that would make me know its worth buying.

i notice that its 8 lug and K20...please tell me that it has D60 under the front? that would be bitchin!!!

and how do i tell if its an OD tranny or not?

Its not gonna have a 60 its gonna be a 8 lug 10 bolt, maybey a 44 but i highly doubt it.

somehow i doubt that. its only a five digit odometer so it could be 149999 or 249999, but when something is that age miles dont really matter. itll most likely have a 8-lug 10 bolt in front and if its a heavy-duty model itll be a 14bff. chevy didnt put 4-speed autos in their 3/4 and 1-ton trucks until the newer body style. itll have the th400, good tranny.

btw, you should buy it. we used to have an 85 2wd subby that was black like that i loved it, called it the tank cause nothing could stop it. ah go ahead, its a real good deal for all thats been done to it, just make sure it runs nice at cold startup and feels semi powerful, the 6.2 is fairly reliable, but lacks power.

with a 6.2 you should hear it run, that alone will determine its worth. mileage doesnt mean a whole lot with diesels, it could very well be that low of mileage or it could have rolled over once or twice.
