another tranny leak thread.

Well the PO had the trans rebuilt around 11k ago and when I got it the trans was WAY over full. I noticed after driving when I would park in my driveway nose up. It would leak a small amount. My driveways pretty steep, anyways it still does this even with correct ammount of fluid in it but doesnt leak at all when I park it on level ground. The fluid is comin from the hole in the housing. Any suggestions? My pops said the excess fluid mighta pushed out the front seal a bit...and I should be fine as long as I keep an eye on fluid levels.

and also is this something severe? I mean I dont park in the driveway often and like I said it doesnt leak on level ground. As long as the fluid level is in check it should be good right?

I heard it will foam up with too much fluid. Try syphoning some out or loosining a fitting to get some out.

already did the filter and fluid to specs before it had a chance to grenade.
