So someone told me you guys fish for sharks off the beach,true? Could you please explain the platform and the rest of the equipment. thanx

man, i was thinking about getting a boat for fishing, but i like this idea a lot more =P Nice rigs guys, i love seeing purpose built rigs like that, i bet they are nice to haul all your stuff, and stage out of all day, or week.

Sorry I've been off the forums for a while and haven't had a chance to respond. The platform is used to keep your line up out of the water, so there's less chance of getting seaweed on your line and your line won't rub and start chafing on the sandbars. Yes we do fish for sharks, and it's pretty much just like fishing for catfish, just with bigger equipment. Sometimes our baits are so big we have to kayak it out, but I do cast some out too.

Hey 1bigsub how is the view going down the road with all those poles in front of you? Do you get any trouble from the cops for having obstruction of view or something?
