I was out finishing up some little stuff on my 5.3 conversion today. Which was not a great idea to do when the heat index is 110 with like 50 % humidity but back to the real topic. I was out driving it for the second time since I finished up the swap and every time i would take off from a stop hard it would slam in and out of gear. Got back and look under it with it in gear and the exhaust is hitting the shift linkage when it revs and pushing it in and out of gear

I swear I welded the exhaust up with it in 1st gear to be sure it would clear.i felt like a idiot.
Just goes to show never measure once and then not check again.
