And the best bonus that came with it (besides the Dana 60), the bicycle:

1983 Silverado 1-ton 4x4 Dually, Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear, 4.10 gears, 454 (supposedly rebuilt not too long ago) with headers, TH400, 205, Aluminum rims, visor, lumber rack, chrome running boards /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif, and burnt up wiring.

The guy said that the fire was caused by running over a gas can on the ground. Some kids working for him ran over the gas can that sprayed gas all over the side of the motor and ignited.

I barely came up with the money to get it, but I think it was worth the $1200.

dooood your not fair! another awesome deal /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif, when I move out of my moms house, I'll buy a tent to live beside you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There's plenty more undiscovered '60s out there. You just have to look for them.

Hell, I found mine by accident. Wasn't even looking, I was at work and a co-worker was looking at the paper right before closing.

"Hey time, '86 K30...isn't that what you're looking for? He wants $1650"

$1400 in cash and I drove it home and left the DD RIGHT THERE!!!!! No way I was letting it get away.

The bike features a wobbly front rim, and tires that actually do hold air. I also got 2 rolls of insulation and a coffee table. I'm excited about the coffee table.

The truck is getting stripped down to the frame, converted to single wheel, motor is getting an Edelbrock intake and new gaskets, then my '87 1-ton 4x4 body is getting removed (off a cracked frame) and placed onto this frame, then getting the snowplow mounted on it, and hopefully will be pushing snow by November.
