If I move the front 10 bolt axle forward 1" on my 91 Blazer will it affect my steering off road? I've heard it takes away much of the steering ability once the front end starts to flex. I'm thinking about going to crossover steering, but I want to wait untill I can aford to do a Dana 60 swap. Any info is appreciated. BTW 4" tuff country ez rides HD greasables in front, Tuff 4" shackle flip, zero rate in rear.
TIA

My personal experience indicates that the steering was equally terrible with or without the axle moved 1" forward.

Does that help any?

I think this is a case of try it and see. It won't be unsafe to drive and I really don't think you'll do any better or worse in offroad situations.

ok

ok I'll try it. It just seems someone has done this besides me and should have some real world input.
