Anybody have pics or ideas on mounting a sway bar to work around ORD crossover and ORD 4 link front on a d60? Steering box is in the stock location but I'm not against moving it, but definitely want to stay with hydro assist

What about have the hinge part back by the shackles? Then you wont have any steering stuff to get in the way. Not sure about driveshaft without laying under mine though.

Link arms are in the way to mount it low, then the trans is in the way the higher it goes.

Better pic of the link arms

Build an engine cage an mount it up high, and take the hood off ;)

My plan is to do it off the original leaf spring mounts on the front, drill out the hanger, sleeve the tube in and run the sway bar links to the axle.

I so have cross over and ord 4 link.

So this is about the only pic I have that u can see... I also have thought about the original leaf spring mount, but curious as to how your gonna get it around the moving pitman arm, and the Panhard mount? Like the idea of on the engine cage, but doesn't seem real practical

Hmmm looking at your picture it might not work.

i think my best bet is to build it out of pvc and cyle the suspension a 100 more times.

Get out of the box!

Mount the bar on the axle and run the arms parallel with the links and up to the frame.

I actually don't know if that works but I know your going to struggle to find someplace no matter what.

I like that alots.

Iv thought on it, offroad evoloution did it on the ultimate adventure z71 but I can't get a good picture of it! Just have to check for oil pan and frame clearance but that may be the only way

Isn't that how the late 80's early 90's furds with a dana 60 are mounted?
